1. MayureshwarTemple:
Located in Moregaon, on the bank of Karha River. The deity is three-eyed and trunk turned towards left.
2. Siddhivinayak Temple:
Located in Siddhatek village, AhilyabaiHolkar of Indore built the temple. The idol is placed in a brass frame.
3. Ballaleshwar Temple:
Situated in Pali Village, Raigad district. Named after a devotee Ballal.
4. VaradVinayak Temple:
Located in Mahad village Raigad district. The idol faces east and has his trunk turned to the left. The idol was found in the lake adjoining the temple and hence, displays a weathered look.
5. Chintamani Temple:
Situated in Theur village, Pune district. Largest amongst Asthavinayak temples. Ganesh is worshiped by the name ‘Chintamani’ in this temple as it is believed he provides deliverance from worries.
6. Girijatmaj Temple:
Located at Buddhist Caves, (near Khapoli – Mumbai Pune Expressway) this is the only Ganesh temple located on a hilltop. The entire temple is carved out of single stone and faces south. The idol here is not a separate idol but has been carved on the wall of the cave and only one eye of the idol can be seen. ‘Girijatmaj’ literally means Ganesha the son of Girija (Parvati).
7. Vighnahar Temple:
Situated in Ozhar village, on the bank of Kukadi River. The idol faces the east and has its trunk towards the left.
8. Mahaganapati Temple:
Located in Ranjhan village of Pune district, Maha Ganpati is the most powerful representation of Lord Ganesha. It is believed that after invoking this form of Ganpati, Shiva vanquished the demon Tripurasur.
